After a 2 year wait, Irish post-punkers, Fontaines D.C., have released their fourth album titled Romance. Produced by James Ford, who has produced far to many records to list in this post, but you can read it here.

Fontaines D.C. release their latest album, Skinty Fia, on red vinyl

Irish post-punk Fontaines D.C. return with their third record in as many years: Skinty Fia. Released on 22 April 2022 via Partisan Records, the title roughly translates from the Irish language into English as “the damnation of the deer”. Produced Dan Carey, recorded at Angelic Studios, mastered at Abbey Road Studios. Pressed by Optimal Media GmbH. Available direct from Fontaines D.C. website.

Part bittersweet romance, part darkly political triumph – the songs ultimately form a long-distance love letter, one that laments an increasingly privatized culture in danger of going the way of the extinct Irish giant deer.”

Pressed on limited edition red colored vinyl, housed in a single sleeve jacket and printed inner sleeve. Also available in black vinyl single LP in a sleeve jacket and printed inner sleeve and also as a double-LP on 45rpm 180gm black vinyl, in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves.
