Pavement’s 1992 iconic album Slanted and Enchanted, AKA Slanted and Enchanted Revisionist History, is being released on red, black and white splatter vinyl for the album’s 30th anniversary.

Holy shit, it’s been thirty years?! What better way to celebrate the safe passage of time than to spin this masterpiece on the platter!

Chances are you have some version of the this record, but consider adding it as a complement to the standard black LP you might already have. Limited quantities are available from Matador.com, and other sellers. Of course black vinyl will be an options as well as Digital Disc and Cassette Tape.

Originally released by Drag City, the recording sessions were split between South Makepeace Studios in Brooklyn, New York (12/24/90) and Louder Than You Think Studios in Stockton, California (recorded 01/13–20/9191). It went on to sell 150,000 copies.

Five years after Arcade Fire’s 2017 release of Everything Now comes We, set for release on May 9 2022!

Available on black vinyl, limited edition picture disc, cassette, compact disc and digital album.

WE is the sixth studio album by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, to be released on May 6, 2022, through Columbia Records. Produced by Nigel Godrich and band members Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, the album was recorded in New Orleans, El Paso, Texas, and Mount Desert Island in Maine, and preceded by the single “The Lightning I, II”. The album takes its name from the Russian dystopian novel We by Yevgeny Zamyatin.

Spoon’s tenth album, Lucifer on the Sofa, is the band’s purest rock ’n roll record to date. Elliott Smith: Expanded 25th Anniversary Edition. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Elliott Smith’s self-titled 2nd album release, Kill Rock Stars is reissuing a completely remastered 2-Disc CD or LP, this release also includes extra tracks not heard before. Formats include: mp3 – $13, wav – $15, 2xCD+Book – $25, 2x LP Black Vinyl + Book – $44.99 and 2x LP Highlighter Yellow Vinyl + Book – $54.99, available for preorder.

Released in 1995, it was largly ignored by the music press, but celebrated by artists from the Beasty Boys to Fugazi. CDs and LPs include the 52-page coffee table book with previously unseen photographs of Elliott by JJ Gonson, hand writen lyrics and remenicences by his colleagues and friends. Gonson shot the original album cover image.

For this release Larry Crane, producer/engineer and official archivist for the Smith family collected masters, files, cassetts, DAT and tape reels to get the closest sources to the origional mixes. It also includes the oldest known recording of Elliot performing live as a solo act. Prior to Elliot Smith his band Heatmiser released music and Elliot released his first solo record Roman Candle in 1994. Read more about this record here.

It Won’t Be Like This All The Time is very good with no noticeable noise on an average system. The tones are deep and highs and lows are dynamic. NOTE: this record must be played at 45 rpms, not the normal LP speed of 33 1/3.
