To mark the 30th anniversary of the release of ‘Trompe Le Monde’ 4AD and the Pixies are releasing a special green marble edition of the last Pre-break-up Pixies.

Albums will begin shipping around September 24, 2021.

No word if this record is a re-master or just a pressing of pre-existing plates from the 2013 remaster by Krieg Wunderlich, or other source. Leave a comment if you know.

Recorded between Burbank, Paris and London, with producer Gil Norton again at the controls, their fourth album is arguably their most playful.

Singles ‘Planet of Sound’, ‘Alec Eiffel’, ‘Letter to Memphis’ and a cover ofThe Jesus and Mary Chain’s ‘Head On’, Trompe Le Monde goes full throttle with 15 tracks coming in at a brisk 40-minute play time.
